Downtown is a great place for strolling and browsing, with an eclectic mix of old-time charm and modern amenities. From late June to September, don’t miss the open-air Downtown Market, with arts & crafts vendors and lots of farm-fresh produce every Tuesday starting at 4:00pm.

The Glenwood Meadows and Market Street Shops feature locally owned specialty stores, boutiques and restaurants. You’ll also find retailers like Lowe’s, Target, Pier 1 Imports, Sports Authority and Bed, Bath & Beyond.

The Glenwood Springs Mall on Highway 6 & 24 in West Glenwood includes K-Mart, JC Penney and Bealls department stores, and many smaller retailers. During the holidays the mall swells with additional vendors lining the concourse and features visits by Santa and the Easter Bunny.

The Roaring Fork Marketplace, south of town on Highway 82, is anchored by Wal-Mart. There is also a Blockbuster, Office Depot, American Furniture Warehouse and the locals’ favorite Once Upon a Child, a gently used clothing store.
